Where is the iP Utility Safety Conference & Expo held?

Is shuttle transportation available from the airport to the conference?

Transportation is not provided by the iP Utility Safety Conference & Expo.

Is lodging included in my conference registration?

No, all attendees are responsible for the cost of their own lodging.

What meals are included?

Tuesday:

Plated Breakfast, buffet lunch & evening welcome reception with appetizers

Wednesday:

Continental breakfast & buffet lunch

Thursday:

Continental breakfast

Registration & Badges

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes, if your group is 6 or larger complete the iP Safety Conference Group inquiry form on our website.

Do you offer any discounts?

Refer a Peer Program:

1st time conference attendees – Don’t register yet

First time attendee submit your request to be verified as a 1st time attendee and to receive an emailed invoice with the $200 off the registration. 

You will be asked to provide the name of the person who referred you.  That person needs to have been a prior conference attendee or a current CUSP.  The referring person gets entered into a drawing for a $500 Visa card.

First time attendee must register and pay by March 31, 2025.

*Cannot be combined with any other offers including the USOLN member discount

When and where can I pick up my badge?

Badge pick-up will be at the Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel & Convention Center.

Early badge pick up for Attendees is available Monday, April 28th from 3:00 pm -5:00 pm.

Attendee Badge pick up will begin at 6:30 am on Tuesday, April 29th.

Exhibitor badge pick up is Monday, April 28th from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

What is the policy for name badges?

All conference attendees must wear their badge for the iP Utility Safety Conference at all times. A Full Conference Pass badge allows you access to the keynote breakfast, all onsite educational sessions, panel lunches, welcome reception, and access to the exhibit hall.

Can I cancel my registration? What is the refund policy?

Should you be unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge up until March 7, 2025. An email must be sent to [email protected] requesting the change. If no substitute is available, a credit will be kept on file for the payee to use at a later date.

After March 7, 2025, you can switch your registration to the next conference or have a credit balance on your account to use for an iP Institute Education course.

Is there a Conference App?

Yes, there is a Conference App for you to download. 

Download the conference app by searching for
iP Utility Safety Conf & Expo
*Please delete any previous iP Conference Apps and re-download 

Use the email address that you registered with to access the app.

If you need assistance with the app prior to the conference, send an email to [email protected] or call Tech Support at 800-671-9466.

Are there presentation handouts?

All presenters are encouraged to make their presentations available for download, but not all choose to do so. Available presentations can be downloaded during the conference by visiting utilitysafetyconference.com/handouts.

You will need a user name and password that you receive in your folder at the conference on the tri-fold agenda to access the handouts.

You can also get the handouts on the conference app by going to the session or the speaker.

How do I become a speaker at the next iP Utility Safety Conference & Expo?

To submit a presentation for consideration for a future iP Utility Safety Conference & Expo, please fill out the form at https://utilitysafetyconference.com/present/

Credentials & CEUs

Can I receive continuing professional development credit?

Yes, by attending the iP Utility Safety Conference & Expo, CUSP credential holders can earn CUSP points for attending the full conference. All others can earn up to 1.6 CEUs.

How do my CUSP points get entered? Do I need to upload my Certificate to earn CUSP points?

At each session, your QR code from the conference app will be scanned by a staff member to receive credit for attending the session.

How do I access the conference app?

Download the iP Utility Safety Conference and Expo app by going to the Apple Store or Google Play store and searching for iP Utility Safety Conf and Expo.

Please delete any previous iP Conference Apps and re-download the app.

Login with the email you registered with for the conference.

How do I locate the conference agenda?

After logging into the app, you will see a Quick Link for Daily Schedule.

If you would like to select the sessions you want to go to while you are at the conference, go to the Daily Schedule and Bookmark the sessions you want to attend. 

You can do this for each day so you have them for bookmarked for the entire conference.

How do I submit Feedback for a session?

To submit feedback you will need to go to the conference app and follow the directions.

What if I am not seeing something I think should be there?

In the app, go to the upper left hand side and click on the 3 bars.  You will see in the lower left hand side and circle with arrows.  Click on that icon to sync your app. 

How do I get help with the conference app?

If you need help prior to the conference, you can send an email to [email protected] or call tech support at (800) 671-9466.

Do you have Lead Retrieval?

Yes, we do have Lead Retrieval available for purchase for the Exhibitors.

What are the Move-In times, Show times, and Move-out times?

EXHIBITOR MOVE-IN:

Monday, April 28th – 12:00 pm to 5:00pm

EXHIBIT HOURS:

Tuesday, April 29th – 8:30 am to 2:00 pm

Wednesday, April 30th – 8:30 am to 2:00 pm

EXHIBITOR MOVE-OUT:

Wednesday, April 30th – 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

When and where can I pick up my Exhibitor Badge?

Booth attendees can pick up there badges during the Exhibitor Move-in at the exhibitor booth help desk during the move-in times on Monday, April 28th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm.

How do I reserve booth space?

If you sell safety products or services to the utility market, this is a must-exhibit event!

How do I make a donation towards the Prize Drawings?

Attendees look forward to our prize drawings and it encourages them to visit all the exhibitors! Great prizes encourage greater participation. We encourage you to consider donating prizes to the raffle so we can announce your company name just prior to announcing the winner!

Exhibitor Raffle Participation:

To donate a prize, you can:

Take it to the Registration Desk and include a business card.

Take it to your Sales Rep and include a business card. 

Give it to a Staff Member and include a business card. 

As the attendees visit your booth, you hand them the ticket with the number on it and you keep the side that say Keep.
