Where is the iP Utility Safety Conference & Expo held?

The iP Utility Safety Conference & Expo will be held from April 24-26, 2018 at:

When and where is the iP Conference Welcome Reception?

The Welcome Reception will be held at The Summit Windsor on Tuesday, April 24th starting at 6:00 pm. The Summit is walking distance from the Embassy Suites Loveland.

Is lodging included in my conference registration?

No, all attendees are responsible for the cost of their own lodging. You can reserve a room in our block at the Embassy Suites Loveland here.

What meals are included?

On Tuesday, April 24th, a keynote buffet breakfast and a lunch will be provided. There will also be a Welcome Reception at 6pm which provides dinner and networking. On Wednesday, April 25th, a continental breakfast and a lunch will be provided. On Thursday, April 26th, a continental breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided.

Is shuttle transportation available from the airport to the conference?

When can I pick up my badge?

You can pick up your badge beginning at 6:30am on Tuesday, April 24.

What is the policy for name badges?

All conference attendees must wear their badge for the iP Utility Safety Conference at all times. A Full Conference Pass badge allows you access to the keynote breakfast, educational sessions, panel lunches and welcome reception, as well as the exhibit hall.

Is there a Conference App?

Yes, to download the Loveland 2018 iP Utility Safety Conference App, follow these steps or download more detailed instructions.

  • Click this link to download the Attendify app or search the App Store/Google Play Store for "Attendify App". Download the app onto your device.
  • Open the Attendify app and type "Loveland 2018" into the search bar.
  • Tap on “iP Conference Loveland 2018” to access the event's page and then tap +Join.
  • Create a profile using the email you used when registering for the conference.
  • Go to your email and click the confirmation link, then close your email and go back to the Attendify app.
  • Tap on "iP Conference Loveland 2018" to access the event's page and click +Join one more time! Enjoy the app!
Where can I go for more information prior to the conference and while I am at the conference?

Prior to your arrival, the best resource for current and up to date conference information is our iP Utility Safety Conference App that is available in the Apple App and Google Play stores. During the conference you can still use the iP Utility Safety Conference app or visit us at the Registration area.

Are you holding the CUSP program at the conference?

Yes, the CUSP program will be held from April 26-27, 2018 at the Embassy Suites Loveland. Please visit www.usoln.org and complete the application to apply to take the CUSP exam. You are encouraged to apply early as we always reach capacity. After you have received notice that your application was accepted, you can register and make payment for the CUSP program as it requires a separate registration that the conference.

Can I receive continuing professional development credit?
By attending the full iP Utility Safety Conference, CUSP credential holders will earn 20 CUSP points. All others can earn up to 1.6 CEUs for attending the full conference.
How do I request my continuing professional development credit?

Ways to Request CUSP Points

  • Use the Points Request Form on the iP Utility Safety Conference App
  • Go online to our website, utilitysafetyconference.com then CUSP Points Request under the Agenda tab, and enter the user and password information supplied to you in your conference registration packet.
  • Pick up and fill out a form at the iP Registration Desk

To request CEUs, please pick up a CEU request form at the iP Information Desk.

Are there presentation handouts?

All presenters are encouraged to make their presentations available for download, but not all choose to do so. Available presentations can be downloaded via the conference app if you have registered for the conference.

You can also go to utilitysafetyconference.com/handouts and enter the user and password information supplied to you in your conference registration packet.

Can I get video recordings of presentations?

Select topics from the iP Utility Safety Conference are turned into online courses through the Incident Prevention Institute (iPi) Online. To view these courses, register for the Learn Year Round pass for an additional $400 on top of your conference registration, that’s $199 in savings from the regular iPi subscription price of $599. If you are already registered, call 815-459-1796 and we can assist you in adding the iPi Learn Year Round pass to your registration.

I’m curious about the Learn Year Round Pass. Can you tell me more about what it includes?

The Learn Year Round pass offers you 365 days of access to utility safety online education platform. It provides everything that is provided with the standard conference enrollment—including access to the nearly 90 hours of educational sessions we’ll have on site. Additionally, you’ll get a year subscription in our learning management system, Incident Prevention Institute online. This subscription provides you immediate access to 70 – 100 hours of utility safety education videos, online CUSP credit courses, webinars and training tools. And you will even get access to the sessions we video record at the 2018 Loveland conference.
