Where are the iP Conference Registration and Information booths located?

The iP Conference Registration and Information booth are located on the 2nd Level in the South Wing Hall.

Where are the iP Conference Keynote Breakfast and lunches located?

The iP Conference Keynote Breakfast and lunches will be held on the 1st Level of the South Wing.

When and where are the iP Conference Outdoor Demos held?

The iP Conference Outdoor Demos are held outside the doors of the South Wing C doors on Monday, Oct. 2nd from 2:30pm to 4:00pm Eastern Time.

When and where is the iP Conference Welcome Reception?

The Welcome Reception will be held on Monday, Oct. 2nd starting at 6:00pm Eastern Time located at:

When are the ICUEE demos and exhibits?

The ICUEE demos and exhibits will be open from from Oct. 3-5, 2017.

Is lodging included in my conference registration?

No, all attendees are responsible for the cost of their own lodging. You can click here for more information. If you need assistance getting a hotel room, please call us at 815.459.1796.

Please note, some hotels only offer valet parking for a daily fee. Be sure to check your hotel for their parking options.

What meals are included?

On Monday, October 2nd, a keynote buffet breakfast and a lunch will be provided. There will also be a Welcome Reception which provides dinner and networking. On Tuesday, October 3rd, a continental breakfast and a lunch will be provided. On Wednesday, October 4th, a continental breakfast will be provided.

What shuttle transportation is available to the conference?

There will be a shuttle on Monday October 2nd, 2017 from the Embassy Suites in Downtown Louisville to the Kentucky Exposition center. The bus will run shuttle loops from the Embassy Suites to the Kentucky Expo Center and back, offering service approximately every 30 minutes. Service will begin at 6:30am Eastern Time.

ICUEE Shuttle Information for Tuesday October 3rd - Thursday October 5th: Shuttles run on established routes between selected official ICUEE hotels and the Kentucky Exposition Center on show days during peak hours (no mid-day service) at the following properties:

Where do I pick up my badge?

Beginning at 6:30am Eastern Time on Monday, October 2nd, you can pick up your badge by going upstairs at the Kentucky Expo Center to the upper level of South Wing C where you will find the iP Utility Safety Registration Desk. Stand in the line that corresponds to the first letter of your last name. See the map here.

What is the policy for name badges?

All conference attendees must wear their badge for the iP Utility Safety Conference. A Full Conference Pass badge allows you access to the keynote breakfast, educational sessions, panel lunches and welcome reception, as well as the outdoor demos and all of the ICUEE exhibits. See the map here.

Do you offer group discounts?

Yes, if your group is 6 or larger you can email Stacy Fowler or call 815.459.1796 and ask to speak to her.

Can I receive continuing professional development credit?

By attending the full iP Utility Safety Conference, CUSP credential holders will earn 20 CUSP points. All others can earn up to 1.6 CEUs for attending the full conference.

How do I request my continuing professional development credit?

You can pick up a CUSP or CEU points request form when you register at the iP Safety Information Desk on the upper level of South Wing C at the Kentucky Expo Center. Complete the form, documenting your attendance at the conference sessions, and turn it in at the Information Desk before you leave on the last day.

Are you holding the CUSP program at the conference?

Yes, the CUSP program will be held October 4-5, 2017 at the Kentucky Expo Center. Please visit www.usoln.org and complete the application to enter the program. You are encouraged to apply early as we always reach capacity. The CUSP program requires a separate registration from the conference fees.

Is there a Conference App?

Yes, the iP Utility Safety Conference 2017 App will be available for Apple devices on the App store or Android devices on Google Play by August 1, 2017.

Are there presentation handouts?

All presenters are encouraged to make their presentations available for download, but not all choose to do so. Available presentations can be downloaded via the conference app if you purchased a Full Conference Pass for the conference.

Can I get video recordings of presentations?

Select topics from the iP Utility Safety Conference are turned into online courses through the Incident Prevention Institute (iPi) Online. To view these courses, choose the Learn Year Round pass for an additional $399 on top of your conference registration, that’s $200 in savings from the regular subscription price of $599. If you are already registered, call 815.459.1796 and we can assist you in adding the iPi Learn Year Round pass to your registration.

I’m curious about the Learn Year Round Pass. Can you tell me more about what it includes?

The Learn Year Round pass offers you 365 days of access to utility safety online education platform. It provides everything that is provided with the standard conference enrollment—including access to the nearly 90 hours of educational sessions we’ll have on site. Additionally, you’ll get a year subscription in our learning management system, Incident Prevention Institute online. This subscription provides you immediate access to 70 – 100 hours of utility safety education videos, online CUSP credit courses, webinars and training tools. And you will even get access to the sessions we video record at the 2017 Louisville conference.

Where can I go for more information prior to the conference and while I am at the conference?

Prior to your arrival, the best resource for current and up to date conference information is our iP Utility Safety Conference App which will be available in the Apple App and Google Play stores by August 1, 2017.

During the conference you can still use the iP Utility Safety Conference app or you can go to the upper level of South Wing C. There, you can visit the iP Utility Safety Information Desk and a staff member will be there to assist you. See the map here.

Cancellation Policy

Should you be unable to attend, a substitute delegate is welcome at no extra charge up until September 16, 2017. Please send an email to Stacy Fowler or call 815.459.1796 requesting the change.

Refunds for the iP Utility Conference will be given until August 18, 2017. After August 18, 2017, a credit will be kept on file for the payee to use at a later date. If you have any questions, email Stacy Fowler or call 815.459.1976.

The iP Utility Safety Conference is a sold-out event. You may cancel and receive a refund prior to July 15, 2017. All cancellations following July 15, 2017 are not subject to a refund.
